LISA GIZARA

Lisa Gizara is a California-based photographer and painter whose work spans more than 35 years. Her photography has been exhibited at the SFO Museum, the Annenberg Space for Photography, Galerie XII, and the G2 Gallery, while her paintings and photographs have appeared in numerous film and television productions, including Mad Men, Inventing Anna, Frasier, Modern Family, and Ray Donovan. Her work is held in private collections, including those of Bruce Dern and Jennifer Lawrence.

Her series 'Beach Life' is a contemplative body of black-and-white photographs that captures fleeting moments along the California coast. The images focus on the quiet interactions between people, light, and landscape, emphasizing atmosphere and the subtle poetry of everyday life by the sea. The series reflects Gizara's broader photographic approach—minimal, observational, and deeply attuned to the emotional resonance of place.
