C.E. Morse says, "I have chosen 3 shots of my immediate environments close to home & work.

"Sumac and Snow" is what I have referred to as my "boat ramp shot”. While it is not a photograph of a boat ramp it relates in an unexpected way.

I travel all over the US ( and further) looking for photographic subjects.
When I go fly fishing I always cast the boat ramp before I set out in the pond
or lake and again upon my return; ironically, the best fish is often caught at the ramp.
I was headed from the kitchen to my Cumberland studio when I noticed the
freshly fallen snow that was tentatively clinging to the sumac spears in my back yard."
