Lori Pedrick says of her work, "My photographs explore the female form and women's issues. This includes body image issues and feelings of self, which include insecurities and doubts, as well as strengths and empowerment. My goal is to empower women through the use of art. My blog title on my website is called, "Empowering Woman Through Art."

I am working with digital processes including photographs and video as well as medium format film. I am focusing both on the natural form using models as wells as stills of fruits and vegetables issuing in suble (and not so subtle) detail the natural process of age and decay, shape and form."

Lori Pedrick is an Art Director living in New England with 20 years of experience in publishing and design. Photography is a great passion and she is currently enrolled as a graduate student at the New Hampshire Institute of Art where she's pursuing her masters in Photography. She is currently the Art Director at Yankee Magazine.
