What a great way to highlight and delineate friends’ personalities over the phone. I felt a real closeness to the people showcased so inventively. Their stories seemed to spill out of their photographs. Of course, I don’t know if my stories line up at all with the subjects’ own stories, but that’s the fun of it--being able to imagine someone else’s life and their peculiarities.- Lori Pond
